Warhammer 40k: Battle Force Recon 500 Maxi

Battle Force Recon 500 Maxi:

This fast and deadly battle requires both players to move quickly and keep focused on the objectives. Whilst an army can win merely by slaughtering the foe down to the last model, victory will seldom come that way. Shrewd tactics and awareness of the objective is the key to success.

THEARMIES:

Choose 3 500 point Detachments this engagement. There are no FOC Requirements, but a Maximum of 1 HQ and 1 Tank. All three Detachments must be different.

THE BATTLEFIELD:

Because this game is of a smaller size than many, it stands to keep the playing area quite compact. A battlefield of about 4'x4' should suffice. Set up terrain as described on page 120.

Place Primary Objectives:

Each player takes it in turn to place two Primary Objective markers each anywhere on the board, at least 12" from any other.

DEPLOYMEIT:

Before deploying their forces, players should first roll for their Warlord Traits. Players then deploy their 1st Army List in opposite corners. Roll off to see who chooses their corner; that player deploys his army within 12" of that corner. Any models that cannot be deployed must be kept as Reserves. The other player then deploys his force within 12" of the opposite cornet. Reserves may come on from any point on the board edge within 12" of the controlling player's corner.

FIRSTTURN:

The player who deployed first takes the first turn, unless the opposing player can Seize the Initiative.

GAMELENGTH:

This will last 10 Turns.

VICTORY CONDITIONS:

At the end of the game, the player who has scored the most Victory Points wins the game. If the players have the same number of Victory Points, the game is a draw.

Primary Objectives:

At the end of the game, each Primary Objective is worth 2 Victory Points.

Secondary Objectives:

Slay the Warlord, First Blood, and Line-Breaker.

SPECIAT RUTES:

Reserves

Without Number: The Second and third Detachments are Automatically Placed in Reserves. The Second Detachment will not be made available until the 1st Detachment is Eliminated. The 3rd Detachment will not be available until the 2nd Detachment has been Eliminated.

Eliminating Detachment: A Detachment is eliminated when all of the Models have been removed from the table. A Player can choose to Eliminate his own Detachment at the end of any of his Game Turns. If the unit is locked in Close Combat, it is Automatically as if caught in a Sweeping Advance [Including forfeiting any Victory Points].

    Its was another them and us game. Three Imp. Commanders beating up on the lone Tau units, with nothing different.
