Excellent presentation and overview of some of the new features of Illustrator CS6. Well planned and prepared. Tipped the scales and I purchased two days later. Appreciate the pizza and drinks, thanks Adobe.

The nosh was great, even better the presentor. However, my friend who is new to Illustrator compared this meeting to the previous week's Photoshop meeting at Adobe as more eaiser for a beginner to see software changes. Samples of CS5 compared to samples of CS6 might make a better sales promotion for newbees.

Brenda, the Queen of Illustrator, shared all the new features, answered questions, and was thoroughly entertaining. It was a delight the entire time and everyone came away with something new and wonderful, I'm sure. Can't wait to get CS6 in my hot little nerdy hands.

The rationale to upgrade is 'all under the hood' - So that may take me a while to experience, or crave. There are some new features I liked; path blends and patterns, but don't use much currently. All in all, impressed not wowed, and will take a look at the whole suite and how well it integrates for future consideration.

This was an exciting preview of the new features, and Brenda is a warm and relaxed presenter. It was also fun to celebrate Illustrator's 25th anniversary, with sparkling drinks, meze snacks and metallic gumballs (even if I was expecting chocolate balls). Looking forward to working with the new release!

Very nice time, I liked the in depth look at the new pattern maker and also the "vectorize a photo" feature.

    Hi Jason,

Thanks everyone for helping Jason out. There is street parking on 7th Street and on Townsend. See you tonight.

Thanks for the quick replies, you guys are great! Good to know there's plenty of parking, that was my main concern. Hope to see you there!

HI Jason. If you're not really comfy in SF, BART isn't near enough for you to manage easily, so if you are comfortable driving, that's probably the best thing to do.

Hey Jason. Welcome to ILUG. If this helps Theres plenty of parking near the location, so if you drive that won't be much of a problem, I'm not too familiar with public transportation but Bart might be a bit far (maybe someone else can help you there).

Hi, I work in Concord. I'm new to the group and haven't attended any events before. Any advice on whether it's better to BART or drive into the city?
