Webcast: see Adobe® Connect™ below.
Michael Kaplan - Microsoft program manager, Unicode guru, and author of the Sorting It All Out MSDN blog - will join us at Adobe in San Jose from Seattle via Adobe Connect to discuss the new internationalization features and world-readiness of Windows 8.
Admission is free for IMUG members and host staff, and $5 for non-members. IMUG membership is only $20 for the first year, $15 for annual renewal, or $100 for lifetime membership. (At this time we are not charging for remote webcast attendance, but please support IMUG if you find these events useful.) Click here to join, renew or pay a single non-member event fee via PayPal. Cash and checks also accepted at our events. http://www.imug.org/imug-membership-and-event-fees.htm
Please RSVP via Meetup by 4 PM the day before the event to help IMUG and our hosts prepare badges for you in advance. After that time it's still OK to RSVP right up to the last minute, as that will help us ensure enough seats for everyone! http://events.imug.org/
Adobe® Connect™ webcast: If you can't make it to downtown San Jose for this event, please join us via your browser. The url is different every time. Ask for it in the comment window that pops up after you RSVP, or contact us, and we'll send the link as soon as it is available.
Adobe hosts IMUG meetings several times each year. Many thanks to Dr. Ken Lunde and his group for their support!

Hi Kimo, Ken does plan to record this, but the result must be reviewed and approved by the speaker and possibly others at Microsoft before it can be released. If all goes well, I'll be notifying everyone when the recording is available, via Meetup, Twitter, etc. ---Joe
