INFJ volunteering at Land's End

Hi INFJs,

Who likes volunteering? I thought it would be fun to all volunteer together out in nature. INFJs are some of the most compassionate people I know, and we can enjoy giving back to the world while spending time together!

We arranged a volunteering time with Golden Gate National Parks, at Land's End!

Hoping to get 5-10 of us out, or thereabouts! Please be reasonably sure you can attend, so I can keep the project coordinator apprised of an accurate number :) I need to email the coordinators a list of expected participants by Saturday, Feb 16, so if at all possible, please sign up by then!

I posted the meetup time to be 12:45. Often our meets have a rather flexible start time, but this time the hard start time is 1, so the earlier you can arrive, the better!

We will be doing some habitat restoration and enhancing wildlife corridors, so wear your outdoorsy, warm clothes (no shorts) and shoes (close-toed sneakers or boots). A hat and sunscreen is also a good idea. Bring enough water, and be prepared to get dirty. All tools will be provided.

I pasted more comprehensive descriptions below, but that should be the main things you need to know. We'll have a group waiver form, which I'll fill out for us. I'll email you to ask for your full name so I can give it to the coordinator.

This should be fun, beautiful, be a neat way to work together, give something back to the natural world, and get your blood moving!

If we feel like it, we can hang out and grab some coffee or food in the Richmond afterwards... Zephyr Caffe and Shanghai Dumpling King are about a 20 minute walk (or faster drive) from the parking lot :)

Getting there: If you click the Google maps link here: Google Map to Lands End, you can see the coordinates of the meetup point.

Via public transit, it looks like the best way is to link up to the 38L from BART (Montgomery) and take it to 48th and Pt. Lobos. Cross the street at Point Lobos Ave. towards the ocean. Walk downhill until you are just above the Sutro Baths and turn right into the Merrie Way parking lot.

Driving there is also possible -- it looks like parking is free. (More detailed driving directions are at the very bottom.) If you're driving and want to carpool with people, or you need a ride, leave a comment.

I'm excited! Hope to see you there! Let us know if you have any questions.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
