Next in the series of INFORMS Maryland Learn. Network. Do. events, we introduce the subject of Natural Language Processing and some of its capabilities and limitations. Along with a brief history of the problem space, we discuss a common sentiment analysis technique as a possible solution. We conclude with a user-focused tutorial where we provide interactive, hands-on instruction for all attendees to recreate the problem and solution on their own laptop.
