Marissa Monteilh (Mon-tay) is the best-selling author of eight mainstream novels, The Housewives of Ladera, May December Souls, The Chocolate Ship, Hot Boyz, Dr. Feelgood, Something He Can Feel, As Fate Would Have It (e-book), and Make Me Hot. Make Me Hot was a 2006 African American Literary Award nominee. She also contributed to an erotica anthology called Morning Noon and Night: Can't Get Enough. The Housewives of Ladera is the sequel to Hot Boyz (2004), which hits the shelves on October 30, 2010.

Marissa writes erotica under the pseudonym, PYNK. was the winner of the 2008 YOUnity award for Fastest Rising Literary Star. Warner Books released the first title, Erotic City, in November 2008. Erotic City was also a finalist for a 2009 African American Literary Award in the category of erotica and was voted one of the Best Reads for 2008 by Black Expressions. The second title, Sexaholics, about four women addicted to sex, comes out on March 23, 2010. The third title, Sixty Nine, about three women born in 1969 who are about to turn the big 4-0, comes out in 2011, and a title on the subject of escorts follows in 2012.

A former model, commercial actress, and television news reporter, Marissa self-published her first book in 2000, and signed her first book deal in 2001.

Her novel, Only True Love Waits, became a bestseller and won the 2007 POWER Award! Her novel, Divorcing the Devil, peeked at #1 on the Black Expressions Christian Fiction Bestsellers List and has consistently ranked in the Black Expressions Top 25 Fiction Bestsellers List. Additionally, Divorcing the Devil ranked #1 on the Top 25 Black Christian Book Distributors Independent Publishers Bestsellers List. Divorcing the Devil was nominated for the 2008 African American Literary Awards Show.

Dwan has been featured in Booking Matters and Awareness magazine. She's been interviewed on Atlanta Live, which aired on WATC TV 57. Due to her hard work and determination, Dwan has been inducted in the 2006 "Who's Who in Black Atlanta" under the Entrepreneurs section.

She's a member of: The Writer's Hut, Shades of Romance Magazine (SORMAG), and Nubian Literary writing groups. Her professional affiliations include: the International Women's Writers Guild, Small Publishers and Writers Network (SPAWN), PMA, the Independent Book Publishers Association, Military Writers Society of America (MWSA), The American Authors Association (AAA), and Faith Based Writers of Atlanta.

In addition to writing novels, Kendra is also founder and president of KNB Publications, LLC. She has been a reoccurring columnist for several national print magazines and is a member of the national organization, American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) where she served as a past Georgia Area Coordinator. She is also a motivational speaker and facilitator, most recognized for her much applauded signature 4-part aspiring writers series, "The Writer's Cocoon." In 2005, Kendra founded The Writer's Hut, an online group primarily created for published African American writers as a means of support and critique. In 2009, she founded The Writer's Cocoon Focus Group, a national network created specifically for aspiring and new writers as a means of offering valuable insight and support to those embarking on literary journeys of their own. Through Kendra's networks, her passion for writing and supporting other writers is vividly exemplified. Franklin White is the author of Fed Up with the Fanny, Cup of Love, Money for Good, Til' Death Do Us Part and the first novel in The Vil series, First Round Lottery Pick. He is currently working on book two of The Vil as well as his next West Owens novel. Franklin is a graduate of Central State University and resides in Atlanta.
