Wednesday, let's meet by 6:50, leaving at 7:00pm and do a 40 - 90 minute run, or anywhere in between!
Meeting Point: At the Free Parking garage in Crystal City on 18 Street, between the Crystal City Metro station and Crystal Drive by the sidewalk. You will see other runners!
Let's run on the Mt. Vernon Trail. When the trail splits, we'll turn Right and head SOUTH towards Alexandria and gather back at the Crystal City Water Park when we're all done. If its your first run, stick with the group so you can learn the route.
Pace: All paces are welcome! We'll be doing an out and back route, so bring a watch to monitor your time and turn around at the halfway time point. Paces average from 8-12 min/miles. Walk if you need to.
Metro: Crystal City on Blue/Yellow lines, 2 blocks from metro exit.
Post-run: If you're coming out afterwards, feel free to bring an extra dry shirt/shorts if you want to change. We usually go someplace directly afterwards as we are.
Quick Note: Some of us - but not all - will be training for fall marathons, half marathons for upcoming fall races and may run longer than 40 minutes. Feel free to run any amount of time or distance you want. If you're doing 40, just meet back with the others doing the same time at Water Park. Don't forget water, sunscreen, etc.
**Post how many minutes you plan to run in RSVP box.**

Great group, a good range of paces on the run. The Crystal City route is decent, there's a bit of greenery for scenery and not too hilly.

Once again, another awesome night for a run. The rain stopped before we started. On the route we saw a crawfish, a rainbow, and a baby duck. Great turnout and fun to see everyone at Buffalo Wild Wings afterwards.
