BODY TRANCE-Shamanic Dancing and Movement

This movement circle will focus on music that activates the Spirit!

Your movements can include stretching, rocking, sitting, shaking, swaying, spinning, yoga postures... and breathing, always breathing. However your body wants to move, in this circle it can do just that

Quynn gathers music segments of drum, didgeridoo, tribal and rhythmic styles that will activate you in unique ways.  Each segment is your partner of energy activation and release in that moment...the music sequence ends with a drum journey track to travel within to listen and relax.  During the hour long music set, there will be divination cards (from a number of decks) available in the center.  Pick what you want, when you want. Divine and Dance!

Musical artists can include: Random Rab, Steve Roach, James Asher, Allen Smith, A Tribe Called Red, Stag Hare, Ono Teave, Professor Trance, and others.  We begin and end the hour with some kind of shamanic journey drumming.

Simple movements are profound, in combination with focused attention. Journey where you need to go to activate your energy body!

All are welcome! No "dance" experience required. Join us! :)  Move your body and spirit in a supportive and freeing environment.

Donation for this circle is $5-$10.

Sorry, forgot about my dinner plans, so can't make it tonight. However, I am very interested if this is going to happen again in the future. I used to teach dance, btw, so am interested how this works...

"In indigenous cultures, dance is not a performance. It’s a meditation for the dancer. The movement itself is prayer. Dance and rhythm are the means by which shamans can repair or restore vibration. Because we are actually composed of vibrating energy, it makes sense that rhythm, dance, and ritual can be used to heal us.The possibilities to create global and personal healing are endless when you have a group trance with positive intention, rhythm, and the power of dance.
