Windows 8 Launch Party - Rescheduled

We had to cancel the original party due to Bad weather. But the Rescheduled Event is going to be Even Better!
IT Pro Toronto is celebrating the launch of Windows 8 – Microsoft’s Newest Desktop Operating System. And Office 2013 has also RTM’d. Well, there is no better place to get your hands on the newest hardware that’s been designed for Windows 8 and Office 2013 than the Brand New Microsoft Store at Yorkdale Mall. This is the first permanent Microsoft Store opened outside of the United States. And it’s one of the Biggest!
We’ll have some demos and presentations, some great food and some cool giveaways from Microsoft. Come and Join your fellow IT Pro Toronto members and see Windows 8 and Office 2013 in action. This will be more of a social event than our regular User Group Meetings, so bring your friends and co-workers.
The Party gets started at 6:00pm on Wednesday November 21st. Please RSVP using the mechanism here at Meetup.com. The Theatre where we will have the presentation has a limited capacity so we’re setting the RSVP limit at 50. There is room in the Store for everyone, but in order to track the total number of people who are attending the event, we created a waiting list. Please add yourself to the waiting list so we know how many people are coming. As an added incentive, YOU MUST BE ON THE RSVP or WAITING LIST HERE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVEAWAYS!

Discussion / Presentation was great but sitting and viewing arrangements were far sub par for any Microsoft Event I have ever attended. If the idea was that 25 out of 70 or so guest would sit this should have been stated up front and I would not have come. This should have had at least the number of chairs plus a few extras for walk ups to make this work.
