IT Professionals, Webmasters/Others for Community Networking Monthly Meetup

This event is primarily a combined Networking event. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!This is a place to meet prospective clients and business associates. You'll meet new friends who may be able to refer you, learn about what nonprofit organizations are looking for, share your expertise as a webmaster, IT business owner or web technology specialist and practice relationship and marketing skills for overall career development and community support.

Being successful as a webmaster or IT business owner involves understanding where others are coming from, especially people who are not IT pros. This is the place to become familiar with what it involves to become more than a webmaster, to become a great communicator, master contributor and to be invited to join new projects as a revenue sharing partner.

The right brain does not work in a linear logical left brain fashion. It works more like a scanner, gaining more information with each scan or conversation. Commitment, interest, relationship skills, stability and emotional intelligence are reflected over time with consistent participation as a member of the co-organizing committee for free community networking events. Express your interest to volunteer, demonstrate your capabilities and build comfort level with new prospects to move ahead with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The first step is to get to know each other better to see if we are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding. These monthly community events provide opportunities to develop more allies and to connect with others interested in similar topics. Express your interest to the co-organizers and followup.

WHEN: 12:30PM TO 2:30PM on the third Sundays of each month.

This is a wonderful D.C. economic, personal and community development group, we welcome you! Some of us will be from http://www.meetup.com/socialentrepreneurs/, meetup.com/networking/, meetup.com/onecity/ and others.

It was a wonderful networking event. I appreciate the Allies Building Community (ABC) organization for giving me an opportunity to have conversation with other young IT professionals. I was amazed by the talents and accomplishments of these IT professionals.

It is interesting to hear the self-introductions by the participants to identify common interests and to followup more effectively! We like this interactive personal format!

This meetup never fails to amaze me. Today I secured a new client, got leads for others, and got to meet lots of new and interesting people. I also ate while I participated. The food was really good. This is a networking event unlike anything you've ever experienced. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

Participants are glad they have an opportunity to introduce themselves to everybody in the room and to followup with not only IT techs, but also with potential investors, clients and community builders! Nice way to break the ice!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
