You are invited to join us for networking conversations over lunch with local IT professionals, webmasters and people of diverse professions and backgrounds to exchange experiences in programming, administration, hosting, development, design, and/or just to meet to chat and learn from non-webmasters to understand where clients are coming from for greater overall long term success. These events are great for practice skills required to build business ventures and develop mutually supportive and beneficial client and team relationships. These community building skills as just as important for your overall success as a manager or leader in the technology business or industry.

Note that this is NOT a Meetup group of ONLY IT professionals. If you are ONLY interested in talking shop with IT programmers and developers, this is not the event you are looking for because most attendees may not be IT techs or webmasters. They may own technology businesses, or invest in them or are people interested in networking with IT professionals to help bridge the digital and cultural divides to build ONE CITY! The nonprofit sponsor is looking for IT professionals to serve as mentors, coaches or advisory board members.
The first step is to get to know each other better to see if we are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding. These monthly community events provide opportunities to develop more allies for the project and to connect with others interested in similar topics. Express your interest to the co-organizers and followup.
WHEN: 12:30PM TO 2:30PM on the third Sunday of each month.
COST: free and open to the public (suggested $2. donation to the nonprofit and for 50/50 program where the winning ticket will receive half of the donations received right after a round of self-introductions at each event.
This is a monthly networking opportunity to meet people of all professions and backgrounds, to build your support network, your understanding of different background of prospective clients, practice marketing and networking skills for increasing your overall ability to motivate and keep clients happy and to realize your overall business and human potential. Clients are looking for the IT professionals with certain qualities such as those who have a positive attitude, communication skills, awareness, suitability factors for their business or organizational culture. By participating in this event, you are also helping to build ONE CITY, a context of friendship and prosperity for Washington D.C.
If you are interested in leadership or facilitation experience or work with members of the leadership team, please volunteer to join the allies leadership team. That would be a good way to honor and appreciate your Self, to evolve and advance. It will also provide prospective clients and associates with actual evidence that you can understand where they are coming from and a few successful interactions would provide prospective clients with comfort and the information they need to take the next steps leading to business offers.
There is no charge to attend the event, however, a small donation to the nonprofit sponsor of $2 is greatly appreciated to cover out of pocket costs of organizing the program. This is the space to meet and get to know IT professionals and non-IT investors, partners and others who could refer business to you or invite you to be part of a business team to produce the next successful website or provide useful information to increase ability to realize your aspiration
