HCI/d Capstone Fair

Second years from the HCI/d Master's program will be presenting their capstone (thesis) projects to the public, and you are welcome to attend! I myself will be presenting something, along with many other IXDA members. This is a cool opportunity to check out what's happening in the University and to meet some of the faculty.

There will likely be celebratory drinks afterword, TBA. Admission is free and there are refreshments provided.

See you then!

Apologies to all. The event space has moved to the 3rd floor of the informatics building in the HCI Design Studio.

I think I'm at the right location, but not many people are here. Where is the right place to go?

Tarun said Room 150, which is in the middle. If noone's there, head up to the third floor and look for the HCI/d Design Studio. I'm walking over there right now.

    Parking information-
There is some street parking on E Cottage Grove Ave, E 11th St, & N Forrest Ave. If there isn't a sign in the area, it's public parking.
You can also try parking in the residential neighborhood that is west of Woodlawn Ave. It's free & public after 5pm.
The parking lot directly behind the Informatics Building is for IU permits C & A. If you don't have one of those, you will probably be ticketed.

BTW, do you recommend people eat dinner before this event? Or would you recommend folks wait on eating?

It's an informal walk-in and walk-out event with light refreshments. The students (and myself) won't be going for drinks until after the show, at around 9. If you plan on staying the whole 3 hours, I'd recommend eating.
