"Design for Change" Discussion and General Body Meeting

They say that MLK day should be a day "on" and not a day "off." In the spirit of community and using design to "improve the human condition," we will be holding our first general body meeting on MLK day. Topics discussed will be around how design can help people as a service to the community.

Our first meeting is once again hosted by Rachael's café. We were so pleased by the hospitality and got a lot of great feedback. We plan on exploring other venues and dates as well. Have feedback? Please post in the comments!

As always, this group could not be possible without membership support. We encourage everyone to reach into their pockets, ask their place of work, or find some means to help make these events more enjoyable for your fellow members. If you or your company wishes to sponsor our group, please contact me! We will feature you as a sponsor and thank you for your contribution.

Rachael's is officially the venue. We aren't that many people so expect more of an intimate discussion!

Argh.. looks like I can't make these meetings again this semester due to class schedule conflicts. :/ I may have to make a Purdue chapter.

You should! But don't worry, meetings won't always be on Monday evenings.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
