I got the following e-mail from Dale Brier From the DNR:
"I haven’t had time to process the time stamps yet, but I have the raw totals for the weekend. I wanted you folks to be the first to get the numbers.
If you think we moved more boats on Sunday, you’re right.
Saturday canoe: 778
Saturday kayak: 257
Sunday canoe: 1104
Sunday kayak: 488
Grand total: 2627
To put that in perspective, here are the numbers from the past events.
2009 (est.) 350
Great work everyone!"
Thanks to all who helped. It was a lot of work, but we made a lot of people happy.

Great job IYAK. A huge thank you to everyone that showed up to work the event. It wouldn't have been so successful without YOU! You all did a fantastic job & put forward an incredible effort showcasing the qualities of IYAK. Kudos to Paul for organizing our contribution to the HOEx.

Because of a crisis in staffing at my Intensive care unit, I find I have to work all night tonight, Friday, so can not work on Sat, but can work on Sunday on the 1st shift. I could do registration or help with putting on devices, giving out paddles, whatever. Anything that doesn't take a lot of muscle.

Lake wrangler and helping with putting in/out. If you haven't signed up yet, it is FUN!! Rescuing sunken canoes with Chuck also, almost forgot!
Also will work open to close on Sat. Paul, remind me I owe you my dues. My 1st IYAK event was at HOAx, and felt really welcome to be with other crazy kayakers!
