Currently Boise. I spent my early childhood in Vale, OR, then the rest of it in Grants Pass, OR. Went to college in Walla Walla, WA, spent a year in Michigan, then spent three years in the Puget Sound before my company asked me to come here.
I am ex-religious. I was a fifth generation Seventh-day Adventist and spent all but K-2 in the Adventist educational system. It took a BA in Theology and a year in the Seventh-day Theological Seminary to undo the brain washing and leave religion behind (not quite what they were hoping for) and a few more months to shed a vestigial god of the gaps.
I am the Executive Director of the Treasure Valley Coalition of Reason and host of the Atheist Nomads podcast (http://www.atheis...).
