Give & Take at the Creative Enterprize Zone (Free Admission)

UPDATE:   additional info about presenters at the Creative Enterprise Zone.

(A) One of our presenters at next Thursday's Give & Take is Jeff from Play From Scratch - a really cool toy company in the Creative Enterprise Zone. Check out their website to learn more about what they do! https://playfromscratch.com/

(B) Also joining us next Thursday: Julie Kearns, who started a business selling upcycled clothing and household goods she finds at the Goodwill Warehouse in the CEZ. Her story is really inspirational, and she's planning a 'lost & found' activity to get everyone at Give & Take thinking about what they need to make their big ideas happen!  http://www.JunketTossedAndFound.com/

Join us at the Creative Enterprise Zone for a set of presentations about creative efforts in the community.  The location is a converted warehouse just west of Hwy 280.  The remodeled building houses the University Enterprise Laboratories.

There web site is   http://www.uelmn.org/

I understand the event will consist of presentations with some booths showing creative activities currently being developed in the community.  There will be a wine bar (minimal cost) available.

I heard about the event from CapsuleScape which described the event as:

"The event capitalizes on two simple questions to launch into an interactive evening of presentations, performances and social games. "

CapsuleScape can be found at

Join us for an interesting creativity-in-action event.

This was a well run event. The hosts inter-spaced the presentations with interactive creative games and networking conversations. I had no idea such enterprise zones existed. It was a valuable idea & connecting event. Very much worth your while.

This sounds very intriguing. I just blocked it out in my schedule for that evening. Hope to meet a variety of people. Just look for the dreadlocks!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
