Why it's so important to learn Spanish in the USA?

Are you tired of reading: "Bilingual Spanish speaker needed", "Spanish Speakers A+", "Spanish Speakers to the front line" or “Basic Spanish will help” when applying for jobs???

Are you at a job where a basic knowledge of Spanish will make your work easier?

Do you have Spanish speaking customers and have difficulty understanding them?

Do you have Spanish speaking employees and aren’t sure if they understand you when you address them?

Spanish speakers make up the fastest growing segment of the American population (U.S. Census Bureau’s website: http://www.census.gov) and carry significant economic clout, so improve yourself and help your business grow by LEARNING SPANISH!

Hola, yo soy Pedro, tu maestro de español. (I'm Pedro your Spanish teacher)

I have been a Spanish teacher (certified) for over 9 years. I am a professional and native from South America (Venezuela). If you ever took Spanish before and thought Spanish was too difficult for you…it was not you, it was YOUR TEACHER.

In my class my students not only learn how to speak Spanish, but they also learn about the different Hispanic cultures from Central and South America, Spain and USA, idioms, music, writers and movies. My style on teaching is in a relaxed atmosphere with an emphasis on learning while having fun with interesting conversation...

You will be speaking Spanish in class from day one...Little by little. Of course it all depends on the vocabulary you build in class and on your own.

I am very proud of the success I have had teaching students who thought they could not learn Spanish and now speak the language fluently. They really enjoy their visit to Latin America.

All my classes are located in Medford (my house). On street parking is available, easy access with public transportation. Less than 5 minutes from Boston.

Classes are only $10.00 per hour. Each class is 2 hours per night, once a week ($20.00 per week). Classes are all divided in 10 weeks cycle ($200 the 10 weeks paid full at first class)

Books for class are less than $15.00. A lot of handouts are given by the teacher.

Evening classes are available. Any 2 hours session from 5pm to 9pm.

My classes are small to provide the attention each student requires from me. RESERVE YOUR SEAT NOW!!!

You may contact me to register at diazpe@gmail.com Please provide information regarding your Spanish level: beginner, intermediate or advance (see below).

Beginners:
Never took Spanish before or never learned anything from previous classes. Students in this class are willing to build confidence and familiarity with the language. This class meets every Monday from 6:30pm to 8:30PM. NEXT CLASS STARTING ON DECEMBER 7, 2009 - 6:30PM to 8:30PM.

Intermediate:
Took Spanish before (high school, college or private classes), but forgot most of the language. This class meets every:
1) Tuesday from 11am to 1pm. this class is more about reviewing important basic grammar issues. NEXT CLASS STARTING ON DECEMBER 1, 2009.
2) Thursday from 11am to 1pm. This class is more about listening, reading and speaking-learning how to build a good sentence. NEXT CLASS STARTING ON DECEMBER 3, 2009.

Advanced:
Have taken Spanish classes before, built a vocabulary, reading is not a big issue, but need more practice with conversation and some advanced grammar. We meet every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at my house, at Hispanic restaurants, at Movie Theaters or shows (when there are Latin Film Festivals or shows in town. This is very often). This class is totally booked until March 2010-There is a waiting list-Sorry.

GOOD NEWS:
You do not have to move away from your house or office to take Spanish class. Organize a small group (no more than 7) with people on the same level of the language. I will come to your place or office. $15 per hour-per student. In most of the cases companies/non-profit organizations cover the expenses.

You may contact me to register at diazpe@gmail.com Please provide information regarding your Spanish level.
