About the Workshop

This workshop is 90% hands-on. There is very little lecture time. Most of your time will be spent using lights, working with models and making photographs under Roza’s expert guidance. She will teach you her techniques for making stunning film noir style portraits. Come ready to make a huge leap in your portraiture and lighting skills.
This workshop is designed for intermediate/advanced photographers. It is perfect place to see how she creates magical portraits playing with emotions, shadow and light.

During 2 intensive days you will learn: 

• Different types of studio lighting 

• Continuous Lights 

• Fresnel 

• Strobe 

• How to find inspiration and awaken your creativity

• How to work with models

• Importance of body language: DOs and DONTs

• Importance of details in a perfect portrait

• Secrets of Roza’s post-processing techniques 


About the Instructor

Born with an insatiable curiosity, Roza grew up in Poland and was exposed to many cultures and countries from an early age. 


Roza has lived in the beautiful cities of Krakow, London and Berlin. She combines her love of travel and people with her dream-like aesthetics. She creates powerful portraits that are filled with magic, romance, and the powerful reminiscence of old Hollywood movies.
