Pete Ellman Big Band at Mullen's in Lisle - FREE

The hardest workin' Big Band in Chicagoland!

This Meetup repeats on the first Thursday of the month, but you can hear the PEBB every Thursday night from 8-10pm!

Hear and feel the power of a traditional 17-piece Big Band from 8-10pm at Mullen's in Lisle. A regular feature at Mullen's, the Pete Ellman Big Band blows the roof off with the classic Big Band Jazz setup of five saxes, four trombones, four trumpets, and a swinging rhythm section. Really a concert, but if you just can't resist, there's a tiny space for dancing. FREE. Good food and drink.

Try to get there on time, there's always a big crowd. Pete's band is usually preceded by a local high school jazz band (and a BIG crowd with all the parents and their video cameras!). The kids play from 7 to 7:45. Let's meet in the foyer at 7:30 and try to grab some tables at 7:45. NOTE: Mullen's will not reserve tables in the bar area, so sometimes we sit at the bar.

Listed on several Meetups!

The big band jazz sound is alive and well at Mullins. Good conversation and fun as well. Thanks, Jim, for organizing it.

It was a wonderful experience, seeing the 17 piece big band jazz group. They were absolutely wonderful. Everyone seemed so talented, including the singer .

The Pete Ellman Big Band plays every Thursday at Mullen's. They've played together for years and you can hear the result...Excellence!

If I can't make it until 9 pm, is that too late to come?
