I got there at ~11:30 just to see those beautiful dogs run. I looked around for you, but did not see you. Then I went to the coffee shop and walked around (twice). I ended up skiing which was also great--thank's, Jim, for organizing this. I wasn't planning skiing today, so I'm happy.

Dubravka, Glad you had a chance to enjoy some skiing, but sorry you missed the mushing. The dogs pulled sleds several times over the afternoon (11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.). We'll do this again next year. -Jim

Beautiful dogs, indeed. Thank you, Jim, for organizing this event. It's something that I never would have Thot to do on my own.

Very cold, but the Huskies didn't mind at all. Beautiful, friendly dogs - several up for adoption by the Husky Rescue organization.

I'll stop by to join the group and watch part of the demo, but I made a commitment to another singles Meetup to be at Mullen's at 1:00 pm so I'll have to leave early.

    • Dubravka

Is that also a group for older singles?

Would it be possible to come for a little while and then go xc-skiing at the Arboretum? Anyone else interested in combining the two?

I really, really, really wish I could attend; however, I will be on a ski trip in Wisconsin. Will there be another time they do this or is it a once-a-year event?

    January 21, 2014

    • Jim P Z

Carolyn, Sorry, only once a year. Same hours and events on Saturday if anyone wants to go then. -Jim
