Mayslake Dog Day - FREE - Oak Brook

You don't have to own a dog to enjoy Hot Diggity Dog Day at Mayslake Forest Preserve in Oak Brook!

Meet at Noon at the Information sign off the parking lot. LOOK FOR A YELLOW BALLOON. If your dog gets impatient, say Hello and take off for the event behind the mansion. Dog Lovers without a pooch can enjoy the event together or individually.

Meetup at Noon  -  Rain or Shine  -  FREE  -  Dog Day 10am - 2pm

Visitors and their pooches will enjoy games, paw readings (!), demonstrations, dog supplies, and the grand re-opening ceremony of the 4-acre off-leash Mayslake Dog Park. Improvements include a separate 0.5-acre fenced area for small dogs, trees, new shelters and benches, and a new 0.25-mile looped limestone trail.

Enter Mayslake Forest Preserve from 31st Street and park in the lot. Meet at Noon at the Information sign off the parking lot. LOOK FOR A YELLOW BALLOON. If your dog gets impatient, say Hello and take off for the event behind the mansion. Dog loving non-owners welcome. Grand parade through the woods along Mays Lake to the Dog Park (about 0.5 mile) at 1:30 pm.

**** To use the Off-Leash dog areas, you must have a valid, pre-purchased District permit. A permit is not needed for other Dog Day activities.

    Fun and interesting! So many different dogs. The cutest, of course, were our group's mascots - Peanut and Reese and Scruffy! Agility course was interesting to watch. And nice conversations. Thanks Jim.
