A photo workshop to help you master your digital camera exposure controls and achieve better results with your photography
Sunday June 2, 2013 Noon to 4 PM , Nashua, NH
EXPOSURE MANAGEMENT FOR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHERS is a half-day photography class that will cover the tools and skills for controlling the technical results in your photography. Exposure management is all about making the best exposure possible to create the best photos possible. This workshop is presented by professional photographer Dan Splaine at his studio in Nashua, NH on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from noon to 4 PM.
All photographs begin with an idea- conception. Great photography requires good camera work to bring that concept to life- execution.
One of the most important photographer skills that are part of that camera work is exposure management. The more refined we are with our exposure, the better the data set we collect at the time of image capture, the better our results will be.
Today’s digital cameras include an array of tools for exposure management. Unfortunately many of them are underutilized, misunderstood or simply ignored by photographers. This photographer workshop is an in depth exploration of your camera exposure controls and tools and is designed for intermediate level photographers who want to take their image making to the next level. It will combine class room instruction with multiple practice exercises and hand-on learning. We are going to realy give your camera a workout so you become familiar with all of its potential for improved exposure.
We will explore the following topics in depth:
- Measuring the light- using your light meter
- Exposure settings and selection control
- Refining your exposure – advanced exposure control
- White Balance- recording color correctly
- Flash Photography exposure introduction
