This workshop has been very popular and is worth repeating!
The NIGHT & LOW LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP is all about shooting and hands-on practice. We will meet in Boston at the fountain located on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway at the intersection of Milk Street and Atlantic Avenue. This 2 1/2 hour session (7:30 to 10:00 pm) includes a study guide, on site instruction and a guided field photography session.
The urban landscape and the city light provide a unique opportunity for creative and experimental image making. This will be chance to explore the cityscape at night, to capture the city lights and harbor scenes at their nocturnal best.
A NOTE ABOUT EQUIPMENT: Low light and night photography can be shot with standard point & shoot digital cameras as well as Digital SLR cameras, and this workshop is open to all skill levels. In addition to your camera you will definitely need a tripod for this type of shooting. You may also want to consider bringing an electronic flash to experiment with during the long duration night exposures (if you own one - not required).
Prior to the workshop I will send you a WORKSHOP STUDY GUIDE(sent as a PDF document via email) which includes info about equipment selection, preparation and the photo skills you may want to review before the session. It will also include shot suggestions with recommendations for exposure settings.
