See above: been taking photos since the family purchased an Instamatic in the 60's; took a course at a local community college in September and just purchased a Canon T3. Time to get serious: I want to be better than an amateur. Here's what I have so far that's beyond maybe the typical vacation-and-birthday family photos: http://ebranscomb.com .
all of them, mostly composition and structure and some post-processing, though I suspect I'll never learn Photoshop completely.
Any subject type; what I really need is to learn to see the photograph that's in every subject, to see what I don't see now.
I have recently retired as professor of English at Salem State University. I've been taking photos for over 50 years; been taking it seriously for the past few years. :-)
Love it. I need all the feedback I can get and Dan and the group are right on with concrete, specific help.
