Theme was ‘Your Winter Olympics of Speaking.' Reach your goals in speaking with the help of great coaches (mentors) right here in our Club.
Paula’s colorful words and excellent vocal variety painted the scene, the costumes and the event with gusto and a stunning heartfelt ending to her speech. Pam's Finding Your Pause Button speech showed greatly improved confidence. Both Keith and Karen gave evaluations with praise and ways to improve.
As TQJ, Kathleen gave us a good laugh with her storytelling end. Mark led Table Topics with a poignant story. Clare and Johnny each gave two minute speeches with flair and passion. We were running over time this meeting. Que, as General Evaluator wrapped it up quickly with Reports from Jamie, Jennifer Fan as Timer, and Alma (new Meetup member) as Grammarian (her first Role as a new member).
Other than that, we had 3 Meetup members attending including Dustin who filled out an application as our newest member.

Is there a cost to join? Also, are there meetings for after work hours?

Guests are always welcome to come to a meeting or two to check us out. After the meeting we will explain how one becomes a Toastmaster. Whenever you are planning to come for a visit simply RSVP.

An ideal Club, just the right size...usually about 15 to 20 attendees. Lots of opportunities to speak or just observe. We learn about public speaking from each other and work on improving our skills each time we attend. Good feedback and camaraderie. ” Stop by at noon on Friday to observe. We will have all the details on joining our Club.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
