This group is for people who really love and appreciate cinema with all its different forms and expressions. We'll see only films that are in limited release. It could be a small indie American movie, a foreign drama, a documentary or an experimental animation. I hope ladies and gents who attend will be interested to stay after shows and share their impressions of just watched film while having a drink or two. This is a perfect meetup for people who love movies and want to talk about them.
I intend to set up most of the meetups in Maryland (Bethesda Landmark), AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, occasionally E street Cinema in DC and possibly some free movies at NGA. The goal is to see as many hidden gems as possible to expand our cultural horizons. Some of the meetups could be setup with a short notice, some long in advance.
