Premise? Conservation and getting out

A hard thing about being single - and past a certain age - is finding people to talk to, things to do, or places to go that are not solely about finding a date.

We would like a forum for intellectual, curious, open-minded single people who might be tired of talking to themselves, their plants or pets, who want to get out and meet people.

What this is:

o A true social group of open-minded, non-judgmental singles who are 30+.

o Not about finding a date per se – although that could be a fringe benefit - it is outside the scope of this group.

o MUST be willing to meet in person for dinner, coffee or whatever is convenient – not looking for on-line chat buddies - to have informal discussions just about any topic including but not limited to: religion, politics, health, science, philosophy, arts, music, life, books, pets, food, kids, the economy, history, social issues, etc.

o Open to any race, gender, religion, ethnicity, diversity is welcomed and appreciated.

o Must be respectful of others and their opinions, and willing to “agree to disagree”.

o Must be able to respect the privacy and boundaries of members.

o A comfortable and casual (non-structured) environment for men and women to meet and interact without it being about physical attraction or expectations beyond good stimulating conversation.
