Premise? Getting out from behind our computers & meeting new friends!
We would like a forum for intellectual, curious, open-minded people who want to get out, meet new people & enjoy new experiences. Single, married, widowed, divorced.....we welcome everyone!
What this is:
o A true social group of open-minded, non-judgmental people who are 30+.
o Open & interested in a wide variety of activities. We will have approx. 3-9 events per month, and all within a 2hr drive; some of our activities have included Bocce Ball, Bike Tours, Brewery Meet-n-Greets, Comedy Clubs, etc.!
o Open to any race, gender, religion, ethnicity; diversity is welcomed and appreciated!
o Must be respectful of others and their opinions, and willing to “agree to disagree”.
o Must be able to respect the privacy and boundaries of members. All events & pictures are available for viewing by our members only!
o A comfortable and casual (non-structured) environment for men and women to meet, interact & form lifelong friendships - PLEASE leave your drama at the door:)
Unlike some groups, we do not require you to participate in a minimum of events, don't care how many other groups you belong to, etc.. We simply hope you will find our events fun & often unique, and that you feel welcome every time you attend an event!
We charge an annual fee of $5 per year, due upon joining which may be refunded after first event attended should you choose to no longer continue in the group, to cover the cost of this site. Payments can be made through Paypal or to Amy, Shannon, Kendra or Andrea at an event. You may bring a guest to 2 events, then we ask that they join the group also if they would like to come to more. In addition, for any event that requires reservations but no other upfront payment, there is a charge of $1 for "yes" RSVP's, which is non-refundable.
It is mandatory that you have a profile picture that is recognizable - no cartoons, pets, far off sky-diving shots, etc.. This is so we know who to look for at events!
