Salt River Tubing

What better way to spend a hot summer day than drifting down a lazy river with friends, dangling derrieres in cool water while enjoying some of the most beautiful and accessible scenery around the Valley. If you've never gone tubing, here's how it works: Rent your tube at the main building ($17 cash please), where you'll get a brief rundown on the rules and instructions on where to exit the river. Then hop aboard a shuttle bus for a ride to your launching point.

Once there, wade a few feet from shore, being careful not to let your tube start its trip without you. Throw an old sheet or towel over the black-rubber tube, settle in and let the river carry you away. So gather your friends, pack a cooler full of brews, bottles of water, sunscreen, food etc. No glass bottles are allowed on the salt river. Please check rules, regulations and safety tips:

Carpooling would be a good idea if people are interested in it. It takes about 30min to get there from the Tempe area.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
