Indian OpenStack User Group Message Board › Reminder to vote in the OpenStack Board Of Directors Elections
The election for the OpenStack Board of Directors Individual Representatives is on this week until 1700 UTC Friday. I'm on the ballot this year as I'm fortunate enough to have been nominated by members of the Indian Community to represent India at the OpenStack Board of Directors.
If you are a member of the OpenStack Foundation, and an eligible voter (you joined the Foundation before July 21 2013), you should have gotten an email with a link to the ballot. If you feel you should have gotten a ballot email and didn't, please contact me. There are some great candidates and it's fantastic to see some fresh faces, so please vote and help the OpenStack project get the best representatives to guide the project through this coming year.

I am disappointed seeing Kavit not getting elected. Looking at the results (https://www.bigpulse...., I can only think with larger participation, Kavit could have easily won. Only 90 have voted for Kavit, totaling about 330 weighted votes. Given that this community is 1800+, and assuming at least 500 are eligible to vote, it should have been possible to have Kavit in.
I also wanted to throw it out in open - is there any particular reason InStackers had less participation? Not many are member of OSF yet, or eligible to vote yet?
Let us show more participation next time to ensure someone from India getting elected.
