What is your startup and at what stage of development are you?

Evansville Commerce Bank (organizing director, investor) - Community Banking Perfinity BioSciences (director, investor) - Proteomics Courseoad (investor) - eTextbooks

Why are you interested in Lean Startup practices?

I want Indiana to continue to be a great place to call home. All of my children are on leave from the state and I want them to feel that they have the best opportunity by coming back. I have been fortunate to have been able to bootstrap most of my ventures (more by luck than by systematic vision) and I am interested in supporting that culture as the "normal" way to start and, at least initially, grow a business.

How did you hear about this group? If you were referred, who referred you?

Serving as a mentor at Bloomington Startup Weekend, I met Kyle Shipley and Anthony Panozzo

I live in Evansville. I have started businesses going back to my teens. All have either been bootstrapped or bankable. Many failures, a few successes. In 2006 I began leveraging my capital with other's passion as an angel investor.
