Indie Game Developer Meetup

Meeting in the Dunton Room (by the DVDs)

Do you like games? Do you know how or want to learn how to develop games? Do you want to help others develop games?

This is the meetup for you to join then. We are a bunch of very laid back developers who come together every two weeks to blow off steam and nerd out a little bit.

We talk about games that we are developing, games we have played lately, game we played as kids... pretty much anything that anyone wants to talk about.

We encourage members to bring works in progress for critique and feedback any time. Not a member? You are free to come and take part! If you want to drop by to get feedback on your work and scoot on out afterwards that's fine, we are glad to help.

So come on out to a meetup or two, you will have a good time talking games with us.

Join or login to comment.

I found the group very helpful and mindful of the new members in the room. Very informative people who love what they do.

Just a reminder, we are meeting at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library this week. NOT in Schaumburg. See you there!

OK. The Dunton Conference Room is officially booked for us at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library for this week. We will have access to a digital projector, so if you have a game to show (and it doesn't require installation) bring the file on a zip drive or make it accessible via the internet and we can show it on the big screen! Then we can pass around the wireless keyboard and mouse so people can play hands on! Cool!
