We will explore game development in Unity 3D.

  • March 19, 2013 · 7:00 PM

*** Date change. I'm sorry to have to do this but due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm going to have to reschedule this meetup for the following Tuesday the 19th. I'm sorry for any confusion this might cause.

Agenda,

1. Introductions
2. Show and tell ~ show off games you're working on now or have released. Bring a way to show it.
3. Upcoming events ~ PAX, SXSW, GDC, E3
4. Discuss Unity 3D and what I've learned over the short time I've worked with it. If there are any of you that would like to collaborate on this, let me know.
5. I would like to show an alternative if there are any takers to talk about things.
6. Plan first Game Jam.
7. Awesome food afterwards at Mellow Mushroom.

I can make it, but I'd have to skip class and I would prefer not to.
This semester I have class Tuesday and Thursday nights, so if we could have meetings Wednesdays or Mondays that would help, otherwise I won't be able to come to too many.

It finally feels like Spring! Riding long-distance on my scooter isn't a problem, but the date change is. I work overnight every other week for seven days straight, starting on Tuesdays. I can't attend this Meetup and go into work for 10 hours. :(

Will try to be there. I won't be working, but my tolerance for riding a scooter so far in this weather continues to plummet.

Going to say yes for now, but with my kid turning a year old 3/16/13, it's iffy.

Going to do my best to make it to this one, but that's two days before my son's first birthday. Might be up to my eyeballs in baking and decorating, so we'll see!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
