He has agreed to speak again at the Cure of Ars Church on June 27th on the subject of religion. George is well-spoken, interesting, and brilliant.

The Guardians of Religious Freedom are featuring Guest Speaker, George Marlin. Mr. Marlin is an impressive speaker with an equally impressive list of accomplishments to his name. At present, Mr. Marlin is Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Philadelphia Trust Company and Director of Nassau County Interim Finance Authority, a New York State financial control board. Prior to this, he served two terms [masked]) as Executive Director and CEO of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, President of the Port Authority Trans Hudson Railway (PATH) and President of the Newark Legal Center. Mr. Marlin served on the transition teams of Governor George Pataki and Andrew Cuomo and was the Conservative Party candidate for Mayor of New York City in 1993.
He authored Narcissist Nation: Reflections of a Blue-State Conservative and many other books and has written over 400 articles which have appeared in over two dozen publications, including The New York Times. He has appeared on numerous television talk shows including, The Today Show, Good Morning America and many others. His background is a diverse brand of intellectual, professional and political expertise, influenced by a profound commitment to his Catholic faith and its teachings. He is a man of integrity who applies his knowledge and sound financial principles to solving financial problems for government and other institutions. He is also known as the same principled man on topics related to his Catholic faith as well and as man who does not sacrifice his core beliefs for convenience or political gain. He proudly defends his Catholicism, its teachings and the value of adhering to those teachings. He sheds light on the history of threats to Catholicism and the attempts to undermine the religious principles that are so critical to a free society.
George Marlin has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors and one of these honors was being named in 1991 by Pope John Paul II as a Papal Knight of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and holds the rank of Knight Commander. In 2004 he was named Knight of Malta.
