Dear Members,
This year we have an opportunity to send a strong message to the Legislative leaders of BOTH political parties in Albany. Both Republican and Democrat leaders in the State Senate and Assembly permitted the legalization of gay marriage and other radical proposals to become law.
This is not the time to remain silent. It is the time to stand up to elected officials when they abandon the conservative path in favor of radical liberalism.
After careful consideration we have concluded that the candidates listed below meet our standards of ethics and fiscal responsibility, possess an understanding of the Constitution, and most importantly will represent us better than their opponents. We ask that you support them on Election Day. Please note that we have not interviewed every candidate in every race, so you may not see your local candidate listed below.
We are asking each member to please FORWARD this e-mail to your friends and family, and then ask them to do the same.
The following eleven candidates have been endorsed by the Rockville Centre Tea Party Patriots and Individuals United for Freedom:
Mitt Romney (R) for President of the United States against Barack Hussein Obama

Wendy Long (R) for US Senator against Kirsten Gillibrand

Stephen Labate (R) for Congress CD-3 against Steve Israel
Frank Scaturro (C) for Congress CD-4 against Carolyn McCarthy and Fran Becker
Carol Gordon (D) for NY 8th Senatorial District against Charles Fuschillo
(This race only applies to our members residing in Baldwin, Baldwin Harbor, Roosevelt, Freeport, Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh, Seaford, Massapequa, and Farmingdale)
CAROL GORDON is a Massapequa resident with a record of community service who we believe will shake things up in Albany. She is a small business owner who understands finance, and shares our Conservative values.
Dr. David Sussman (R) for NY State Assembly 20th District against Harvey Weisenberg (This race only applies to members residing in Long Beach, Atlantic Beach, the Five Towns, Oceanside, Lynbrook, etc)

Joanne Maglione (D)  for Nassau County Legislator against Michael Venditto in the special election for Peter Schmidt’s seat. Joanne is an Independent Republican running on the Democratic line.
(This race only applies to our members who reside Legislative district 12 Massapequa, Massapequa Park, portions of Seaford and portions of North Massapequa)
Joanne Magliore is a Massapequa Park activist and former Assistant County Attorney who is an enrolled Republican. However, because of Nassau County politics, she had to run on the Democratic line. Joanne is a fiscal Conservative who we believe will bring a fresh voice to the Nassau County budget debate. If you reside in Peter Schmidt’s district we ask that you support her.

The Rockville Centre Tea Party supports judicial candidates who possess integrity and strong moral character. We seek to help elect judges who when elected, will uphold the Constitution, respect existing laws, and will not look to create new ones. While judicial candidates are prohibited from campaigning on specific issues, we believe TERESA CORRIGAN, LEONARD AUSTIN, ANTHONY PARADISO, and LEONARD STEINMAN have proven themselves worthy of our total support. All of their names will appear on the Independence Party line Row E and we strongly urge you to join other Tea Party members who will also vote for them on Tuesday.
Teresa Corrigan ( I ) for Nassau County Court Judge.
Anthony Paradiso ( I ) and (R) for Chief Judge - Nassau County District Court
Leonard Steinman ( I ) and (D) for Supreme Court Justice
Leonard Austin ( I ) and (D) for Supreme Court Justice
