SUNDAY'S PAM GELLER EVENT AT GREAT NECK SYNAGOGUE HAS BEEN CANCELLED
this evening the Great Neck Synagogue convened a meeting and issued the statement
below that the event scheduled for Sunday was cancelled. After the weeks of
incessant harrassment, threats and bullying, and the recent public
announcement of a march on the synagogue lead by Rabbi Davidson with an alliance
of Muslim and Leftist groups, the synagogue made the decision to cancel the
event in order to avert the "legal liability and potential security exposure of
our institution and it's member families."
organizers of the event and counter-demonstration wish to thank all of you who
responded to the call to arms. Organizers are seeking another venue and if we can secure
a viable place before tomorrow evening we will update everyone through our email

Pamela Geller's viewpoint cannot be heard at this synagogue, which like all the
other synagogues when threatened, likewise caved. The thugs and bullies win, and
we the decent, freedom-loving people in New York, we lose. My thanks and apologies go out to everyone who planned on attending.
STATEMENT FROM THE SYNAGOGUE:
"As the notoriety and media exposure of the planned program this Sunday
have increased, so has the legal liability and potential security exposure of
our institution and it's member families. In an era of heightened security
concerns it is irresponsible to jeopardize the safety of those who call Great

The Rockville Centre Tea Party Patriots was founded on April 15th, 2009. On that day over 600 disgruntled residents joined together for Nassau County’s first official Tea Parties in Hicksville and Massapequa, NY. We are non-partisan and do not support any political party. We will support candidates from any party that shares our views. We welcome all new members regardless of the town you reside.
With few exceptions we hold our meetings the first Tuesday of the month at The American Legion Hall, 197 Maple Avenue Rockville Centre. Meetings run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We encourage you to attend and to bring a friend. All of our meetings are open to the public.
Mission Statement and Core Values The impetus for the Tea Party movement is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.
Our Philosophy: The Rockville Centre Tea Party Patriots as an organization believes in the Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. We are a non-partisan grassroots organization of individuals united by our core values derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America and the Bill Of Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers. We recognize and support the strength of grassroots organization powered by activism and civic responsibility at a local level. We hold that the United States is a republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people were granted “unalienable rights” by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” The Rockville Centre Tea Party Patriots stand with our founders, as heirs to the republic, to claim our rights and duties which preserve their legacy and our own. We hold, as did the founders, that there exists an inherent benefit to our country when private property and prosperity are secured by natural law and the rights of the individual
