hey All! Sloppily typing on my Nook at moment, so excuse typos! ;-p Had GREAT time this afternoon! Hope everyone did, despite tight quarters... funny, cuz when I first started group I didn't think so many would join in short time or so many would come on the Sunday 'playdates'! Hehe... But it's a great problem to have! Anyway.... Re December activities... Kaye has generously volunteered to host us at her house in Dec, tho not making plan to invade her house until she confirms date that works best for her, or has time to change her mind, lol... The 2nd Saturday would be Dec 8th... So I can go ahead and post a meetup for that day as usual, and leave location 'TBD' ... Or if Kaye is game, have at her place and maybe adjust time to allow for some holiday "merriment"... Or we could have a couple separate get -togethers.... Soooo KAYE.... Reply and let me know! Additionally, Katie had an AWESOME idea for fun holiday event to add! She suggested that each member pull together a grouping of small miscellaneous collage-able elements(say between 5-10 pieces) and put them into an anonymous envelope, small container, etc, and then at our get-together, we each pick one randomly and then we need to use all the elements in one single piece, like a journal page, card, canvas, whatever base you prefer... No one would need to spend any $ as could use stuff found around the house(e.g buttons, string, ribbon, twist tie, magazine or other cutouts or images, old stamps, tkt stubs, small bits of glitter or confetti,die-cut, letter/number stickers, small bits of leftover fabric or wire, ....) the possibilities are endless! Then we could either work on our pieces while together then....or take them home to work on, then share what we did later.....! I think that sounds like a blast! Anyway, once Kaye chimes in about possibly hosting, we'll go from there with further plans! If something comes up and Kaye can't do it... I could host, or we could come up with a plan 'C'....Feel free to chime in with any thoughts and just 'Reply to All' or add as discussion on site... Have a great week, All! We'll be in touch! Kim
