The Indy Christian Music (ICM) Meetup Group is designed for those who love Contemporary Christian Music of any genre and enjoy seeing these artists in concert. This group is for those who may have wanted to go to a concert but didn't go because they couldn't find anyone available to go with.

ICM is designed to work best if members are willing to take the initiative. Members are encouraged to keep track of the tour dates of their favorite artists and suggest events as early as possible to allow members to plan and possibly get group rates and / or purchase tickets together. Members should also be willing to help coordinate & host an event with the help of the leadership team, if necessary. Any additional volunteers to be a part of the leadership team would be greatly appreciated.

Most meetup events for will probably be within the Greater Indianapolis area, but suggestions for "road trips" / carpooling to out-of town concerts or Christian Music Festivals are also encouraged. Dinner before or after the concerts are also a possibility at the discretion of the event host with input from the other members who wish to attend.

Although the focus of ICM is Christian music by Christian artists, members may also suggest secular concert meetups. ICM is a community that is all about friendship and fellowship, so I see no reason that members can't ask their Christians friends at ICM to join them for a fun night out to see a pop band from the '80s at Verizon /Deer Creek (for example).

ICM is open to members of any age, race, marital status, etc. Couples, singles, divorced, and widowed are all equally welcome, but many meetup groups are composed primarily of unmarried members. ICM is not primarily a Christian Singles / Dating meetup group. Dating within the group is neither encouraged or discouraged, but members should treat others with respect to dating and not pursue romantic relationships within the group too aggressively.

ICM is a work in progress. Members are encouraged to provide both positive feedback (What are we doing right?) as well as negative feedback (suggestions for improvements).
