Raclette Party! (RSVP with +1 for your spouse/partner)

Carola and Jeff are inviting everybody to a Raclette party, maximum number of people would be 16 (=8 couples):
Here's a short brief explanation of what raclette grilling entails:
"Raclette is a type of cheese from Switzerland that is prepared
with vegetables on a special raclette grill. The grill heats
numerous small pans in which each guest melts the raclette with
vegetables and other toppings of his or her choice. All the
host needs to do is supply the equipment and prepped cheese and
vegetables. Then everyone can relax with a beverage of choice
while their individual raclette pans cook."

Bring time---this takes a while, as you continue to cook & eat more.  It's loads of fun. Please bring your favorite beverage and state in your RSVP which item you will bring to the party (see below). We as the hosts will provide the Ham and Salami meats (since I know how they need to be cut for this), cooked potatoes and the Raclette
Cheese (since I know where to get it easily) and also will have emergency items handy in case somebody cancels that signed up for specific items.

Here is a list of items people could sign up to bring for the Raclette grilling: Swiss Cheese (a block that's sliced medium thin); Gouda Cheese (a block that's sliced medium thin); Blue Cheese; a meat of your choice to grill (could be little seasoned chicken strips, shrimp, you name it); Cherry Tomatoes (1 box)
2 glasses of button mushrooms
2 green peppers (or 1 green 1 red would be even more fun)
1 Zucchini & yellow Squash each
2 cans of sweet corn
1 can artichoke hearts

Both Dan and I really enjoyed it. Raclette is a very different way to get a large group together. It was fun to learn a new way of cooking. Enjoyed all the couples, new and old. It was great to see Kat. Really enjoyed meeting all the new couples. Great experience!

A reminder, when selecting your choice of beverage to bring, such as wine, Raclette food is spicy (not hot) but very aromatic, so go with a stronger flavored drink, such as a spicy red or white wine with it. Beer works well too.

Our phone number is 317.487.2199. Here are directions for people not on the Westside. From I-465 take exit 14 (W 10th St) Turn right off the interstate if you were driving Southbound, turn left from Northbound. Get in the left lane as soon as possible. You will pass a Shell and Gas America gas station with a traffic light. Take the left turn lane that comes up after that traffic light at Gas America and turn left onto Bauman. Take the first Street coming up to the right only, which is Castle Manor Drive. Follow the turns of the road without every turning again. You will reach a four-way stop sign at the corner of Castle Manor and Chapel Hill Road. Our house is red brick on the right hand side before the stop sign, which you will already see coming up, as we have a huge backyard with a black chainlink fence, the only fence on the road. Don't get side tracked by passing a Chapel Hill DRIVE---that's not our street, it's Chapel Hill ROAD. Can't wait to see all of you.
