Hello Friends! As Carol mentioned in a recent email, I've been put in charge of our booth at the Rocky Ripple Fair on Sat., Sept 29. Since it sounds like this is a family friendly event, I'd like the theme of our display this year to be kids and kid interests. I thought about being more specific, but nothing more specific has really come to me. So, let's shoot for things like portraits of children, or fun and fanciful things with lots of bright colors that might catch kids' attention and draw them and their parents into our booth. If you are interested in showing in this fair, please send me a quick reply so that I have an idea of how many may be interested. That will help me know if we need to cap the number of pieces each person shows. I will also be needing some people willing to hang out with me at the booth throughout the day and/or give me a break to step away for a while. Let me know if you might be willing to help out with that.
In addition to our booth, Carter Keith and the TTD group will have an adjacent booth. Those involed in the TTD booth are also welcome to show pieces in our club booth providing pieces are "kid" themed. Carter is also looking for models willing to participate in the TTD presentations. If you are intested in doing so or know someone who would, let me or him know that as well.
Once I get a feel for your responses, we will move forward with more detailed plans. I know we are in the middle of Landmarks prep, but this show is coming up real soon so let me know asap if you have interest in Rocky Ripple. Thanks ya'll!
