yeah, it's captured, but it's not a good picture. The moon being nearly full last night was so bright the first pictures I took were just a bright ball. I had to reduce the exposure to -2 to get this shot, also "Steady Shot" was on and I was leaning up against a wall and my arms were tucked in against my chest to reduce movement. lol.... I probably could have gotten this camera for less on ebay.... Maybe I'll try some with my DSLR another time.

I'm totally jealous - I've nver been able to capture a shot like this one. And the moon is looking so fine right now!!!! Great photo.

Glenn, A great shot...really clear! I can identify Antartica! And, I think that just might be the Caspian Sea to the NE of it; and maybe Iceland kind of in the middle...a little due North. Assuming everyone else sees this too...or, am I the only smart cookie in the box???

I sat on the ground, in the country last night and did nothing for nearly 1/2 hour but try (every setting on my camera) to get a moon shot. Jealous here!!! Nice job, Glenn!

Ooops! I think that is the Artic...not Antartica!!! And Asia? Well...maybe I should get me a different pair of glasses or bone up on my geography! But...a very good shot indeed!!!!
