To commemorate Walt, it was decided by his family to have a barbecue in his honor. Please RSVP so that I can tell Joann and her family how many people are going to come. There will be plenty of vegetarian and non vegetarian selections, so come on down, pull up a chair, and let's celebrate Walt Bush for his many years of life lived and the Dharma that he brought to us!!!!!!!!!!!

Walt's meditation group was key toward sorting out some very intense experiences while trekking in Nepal. I barely knew how to spell Buddhism at the time, and needed to come up to speed on Buddhism very quickly in order to comprehend these experiences. Not sure how well I'd be functioning in the world without the benefits of Walt's group, even today.

It's a sad day indeed... Walt did a lot to gather the Buddhists and potential Buddhists in Indiana via his various groups. Often, those people moved on to join other more formalized groups and organizations... but it was Walt that got them started on their path. I don't think that the Buddhist community would be what it is today without his influence. Even though he is physically gone, he will live on in a lot of our hearts.

I will be honored to attend and to acknowledge Walt's life and the kindness that he gave to so many people. My life is so much richer because I was fortunate enough to know him.

Jackie and I are sorry to hear of Walt's passing away.
We plan to attend the picnic Sunday.
Walt introduced us to Buddhism three years ago and has been a teacher the entire time. He has been a positive influence in our lives. We will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear about Walt's passing. I very much appreciated his teachings. He also had a wonderful impact on me. I am currently in China, so unfortunately I will not be able to attend, but i will also celebrate him during my visits to the Temples...
