I have tried to practice Buddhist meditation on my own, but have had a difficult time. My mind always seems to drift elsewhere. I also have chronic pain, which can make sitting for long tricky. I wish to overcome these challenges on my path.
I was briefly introduced to Transcendental meditation in a philosophy class.
Sadly, I have not been doing a good job of keeping up my sitting practice due to the aforementioned issues. Ideally, I would like to be meditating at least once daily.
