I've always played with prose. All my professional writing has been academic and primarily science/ natural history for the general public

Who are your literary influences?

Off the top of my head, Stephen Jay Gould,E.O. Wilson, Don Dos Passos, Kurt Vonnegut, Saul Bellow, and Cormac McCarthy
