NANOWRIMO Anyone?

Is anyone thinking of taking part in Nanowrimo this year? I've done it quite a few years now, and I'm debating doing it again.

I'd like to form a group where we could maybe meet and have writing parties, etc.

I'll be at the Meet-up tomorrow. Let me know if anyone would be interested.

A few people asked, so here's the info-

If you go to Nanowrimo.org it tells you about how it works. If you want to "friend" me, I'm HoosierHamster. Let me know if you sign up and I'll friend you back! (the website is down right now for their annual refresh, but it should be up soon.)

Thanks Susan! I'll take a look at the website once it goes back up. No promises but I am a writer with the need for a bit of outside prodding. Rick

And I think I've added everyone on here to my Writing Buddy list! Is it okay to admit I'm a little nervous about doing this? None of you carry guns or sharp objects do you? If I don't hit my word count there won't be a word posse out for me will there?

Everyone is nervous! You just gotta get in there and try!

We have a meet-up on the 5th for Word Lab - do we want to wait until then to compare notes, or organize something soon? Maybe Saturday the 3rd we could meet at a Starbucks somewhere for a writing session?

I think I've finally got an idea. We'll see how it goes!
