This is a special invitation to the IA/CS Meetup members. This is not an IA/CS Meetup event, but we wanted to invite IA/CS members to attend a dry-run of this presentation.
The event is from 6:30-8:30. The presentation will start at 6:45.
Kathy Wagner and Theresa Putkey are preparing for their talk at the Intelligent Content Conference in February. They would like your support and feedback at this dry-run of their presentation.
Here's a description of the talk:
"Many projects start off with the assumption that something is wrong with content, but it's not always clear as to what is wrong or why it's not working. With only assumptions, solving the problem is a shot in the dark. This presentation focuses on an approach for methodically discovering problems and strategically solving these problems. We will share our experiences in assessing content, and how we identify problems in usability, findability and searchability, tone and messaging and audience targeting. We will also discuss the tools we use to identify these problems and possible solutions."
As an attendee, we ask that you pay a nominal fee of $5 to help us with the cost of the evening. This cost is collected when you RSVP and is NON-REFUNDABLE! There is no wait list for this event and no extra people will be admitted at the door.
