Spring Swap Meet at Headwaters.

  • April 6, 2013 · 9:00 AM

Yes its that time of year again. Every spring Headwaters host a big community Swap Meet in our parking lot. People like you bring in your used, or unwanted paddling gear to the shop between now and April 5th and check it in. Then on the day of the Swap Meet everything gets displayed in the parking lot for sale. What you sell can be used for 100% store credit or cash -20% commission. This is a great way to trade up your kayak, or simply clean the garage out. In addition to your used equipment, we also invite industry reps to bring out old samples, demo kayaks, and rental gear to sell off at the swap. Typically we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 used kayaks for sale. This event draws huge crowds, and we are expecting this year to be even bigger, because we have teamed up with 4 Seasons Ski Shop and The Bicycle Cafe, which share our complex. 4 Seasons will be selling off all 2013 Ski and Snowboard gear as well as their Massive rental Fleet. The Bicycle Cafe will be allowing customer to set up booths and sell bikes and parts. For more info please call 4 Seasons Ski Shop (209)[masked], and for The Bicycle Cafe call: (209)[masked]

In addition to the Swap will also have Michael David Winery on site offering Wine Tasting, Live Music, and A Movable Feast Catering Truck. So make a day and come check us out!

Please check in early. No equipment can be brought to sell the day of the swap. For more questions regarding the Kayak portion of the swap please call Dan [masked]

Found some great deals and met-up with quite a few friends from the paddle group and NCKA. Great time!

Can't wait! I am looking for a used PDF for my husband, one that fits well and doesn't get in the way while paddling. I am also looking for another paddle or two! And a bait caster reel/rod.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
