Spend some time at the Wolf Mountain Sanctuary

                         Please Remember.....  Extinction is Forever

Wolf Mountain Sanctuary is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to the preservation, protection and proper management of wolves in the wild and in captivity.

"Our purpose and ultimate goal is to save these great, noble animals from extinction"

Tonya has dedicated her life to protect the wolves in the wild and in captivity, in 1980 she founded Wolf Mountain Sanctuary.  She rescues the injured and abused wolves that otherwise would be put to slepp.  When a wolf is brought to her as a cub, they can grow to a weight of 180 pounds.  A wolf is not like a dog - it cannot be a pet.  Wolves can dig out or jump over a 7 foot fence with no problem.

All donations are tax deductible and go directly to the care of the wolves.  They are run solely on public donations.  WMS receives no grants so they need us to help in saving these beautiful and majestic wolves.

WMS is one of the few sanctuaries in So. Cal. where you can interact with pure wolves.  Since they are now captive for the rest of their lives for various reasons, they need to have human contact from caretakers and all the love that they can give them.

The impression a 180 lb. wolf leaves on you is ever lasting, just look into their knowing, wise, amber colored eyes is a moving, spiritual experience.

WMS often travels to special events bringing a wolf ambassador to give educational lectures.

Wonderful day, full of information on the wolves, picture taking, learning about the planned move to Colorado. I'll be sad to see them all go but happy they will be in a better environment.

The tour was so informative. Thank goodness that there are people who are so passionate about saving the wolves. They are beautiful and majestic animals. I hope that Tonya is successful in getting them to Colorado soon where they will be in an environment that is more comfortable for them instead of the desert.

On the Wolf Mountain site, it says to bring boneless skinless chicken. I called them[masked] & they said "Yes, the wolves prefer the boneless, skinless chicken (frozen) & they also love the Costco large dog biscuits (Red & Green box) & whole carrots. Thought that you might want to pass this info along.
PS. your ph. mail box is full...do we pay when we get there or send you a check ?

Visit www.wolfmountain.com to read more about the great work that Tonya and her staff are doing to save and rescue wolves that would be destroyed.
I look forward to joining you there on Mar. 23rd. It is a special experience that you will remember for a long time. If you want, bring a package of frozen Chicken leg quarters (thigh & drumstick) to donate for the wolves. As they exist on donations, anything will help also.
