PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL BE A CO-ED RIDE AS IT IS CROSS-POSTED ON ENERGIZED OUTDOOR ADVENTURES!
Let's get a workout and have some fun with by riding with the IEWC and Energized crew to the beach, and dressing up yourselves, and or your bike Hawaiian style! Everyone who comes on this ride will get a lei to wear on our ride. Bring your own if you want, and dress up your bike, ankles, wrists... You get the picture!
The ride is very scenic on a well-maintained bike path with no motor traffic. The ride along the river trail path is relatively flat with quite a few roller coaster ups and downs. Once we hit the beach inlet we are on the street with a dedicated bike lane for the last 2 miles to Newport Beach and our destination - the Newport Pier. Bring money for the optional stop to the great donut shop at the pier!
