yes, been interested in it for a very long time. i feel naked not being prepared, I have a few very basic preps (LTS food and water) but unsure where to go from there. I do feel very exposed open to any kind of disaster, like quakes & floods. as well as the less-likely things like economic collapse, etc. (I don't even know how to grow my own food!)
sure. part of prepping is projecting a positive image and educate the public on what is prepping, everyone should do some prepping and why its a good idea.
I will try to, although my leadership/people organizational skills are on the weak side. I'd rather someone lead, i follow.
yes, I don't see why anyone would think others should not be prepared. prepping isn't some kind of exclusive group, i feel its a type of self-help. self-help to be prepared for the worst. at the very least it would be less people banging on my door in times of disaster looking for a handout, who wouldn't want that?
believe it or not, i got into prepping from the kind of people preppers do not want to be associated with. you know, those militant anti-government end-of-the-world-is-coming survivalists. except that movement is dead. from there i discovered this site called zombie-hunters.org (online prepper community using the zombie theme to attract new people), and i got into prepping from there. because the popular 90s survivalist movement is dead. I would like to see more meetups & fun events.
I've always been interested in prepping, have a few basic things like food & water stored but lack funds & storage space to go further into it. I also lack real experience, like camping or hunting. I want to learn more about these kinds of skills.
